The invention solves a positioning forging tool, designed mainly for forging of rotating as well as of non-rotating forged pieces on automatic forging machines, in which securing of positioning of external shape with regards to the inner shape of the forged piece is required. The above mentioned purpose is achieved by means of a pressure positioning intermediate piece (16) with a positioning element (17) and a securing peg (18) and an adjustable position case and a positioning element (6), by which the right position of the separate parts of the forging tool is arranged during the whole operation cycle of the forging machine.<IMAGE>
