PURPOSE:To provide the above printing plate which can be developed with an aq. alkaline soln. by using a high-polymer compd. having an alcoholic and/or phenolic hydroxyl group in a photopolymerizable photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:For example, the ester or amide of alcoholic and/or phenolic hydroxyl group-contg. poly(meth)acrylic acid is used as the high-polymer compd. having the alcoholic and/or phenolic hydroxyl group used for the photopolymerizable photosensitive layer. The high-polymer compd. having the alcoholic hydroxyl group is exemplified by the compds. having the constituting units derived from monomers, such as 2-hydroxyethyl (meth)acrylate, N-(4- hydroxyethyl phenyl)methacryl amide, hydroxy-methyl diacetone (meth) acrylamide, etc. The dampening waterless planographic printing plate having the extremely good developability with the aq. alkaline soln. is obtd. in this way. |
