PURPOSE:To improve operability and to always take a picture in focus by calculating when a plane where an object image is formed by a photographing optical system aligns with a scheduled image formed plane so as to get focusing and starting a releasing action so that exposure may be performed at the time of focusing. CONSTITUTION:An image plane speed calculation means 301 calculates the moving speed of the plane where the object image is formed by the photographing optical system 1 accompanied with the movement of an object based on a defocusing quantity calculated by a focus detection means 2, and lens driving control means 4 and 5 drive the system 1 to track the moving object based on the defocusing quantity and the moving speed. Based on time information calculated by a time information calculation means 6, the action of a shutter release mechanism part is started by a shutter release control means 7 so that the exposure may be performed when the object image by the system 1 aligns with the scheduled image formed plane. Thus, the exposure is executed at the time of focusing and the picture out of focus is prevented from being taken. |
