PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate the surround sounds having high realism regardless of the sound reflection even in a limited space like a home, etc., and with no expensive equipments required by decoding the source signals of the extracted surround sounds into voice signals of plural channels and correcting the sound fields of plural speakers. SOLUTION: A surround sound source signal extraction part 17 extracts the surround sound source signals from the reproduction data received from a medium interface 12 and supplies them to a surround sound processing part 18. The part 18 decodes the surround source signals received from the part 17 into the voice signals which are supplied to speakers R, L, C, RR, RL and SB respectively. These decoded sound signals of plural channels are amplified by an amplifier 19 and supplied to those speakers after the correction of their sound volume. |
