PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact, light and easily assembled optical head, wherein an objective lens and a folded mirror are made unnecessary, and any correction of chromatic aberration or focusing is unnecessary. SOLUTION: This device 10A is provided with an optical head element 11 made of a high refractive index material and composed of first planar reflection surface 12 and a second reflection surface 13 having a rotary elliptic surface, and an optical fiber 21. An opening 16 for light transmission is formed in the center of the first reflection surface 12, and in the center of the second reflection surface 13, a recessed spherical surface part 14 is formed for transmitting a diffused light radiated from the point A of the optical fiber 21. The points A and B are conjugate with each other optically. The diffused light radiated from the point A is transmitted through the recessed spherical surface 14 to be made incident on the optical element 11, reflected on the reflection surfaces 12 and 13 and then converged at the opening 16 to be emitted to the outside. |
