A visor system comprises a main visor (20) and an auxiliary visor (10) which can be pivoted about a generally horizontal axis selectively to shield either the windscreen (14) or a side window (15) of a vehicle. The main visor (20) includes a sliding panel (60) slidably longitudinally of the visor (20). The visor (20) is mounted to a pair of mounting brackets (30, 40) and is spring-actuated to a raised stored position. This is provided by a pair of spring clips (80) which cooperate with the pivot axles (53) of the visor.
