The compressor has a stroke ring (1) with side sections and turnable rotor (2). The rotor has grooves (13), each containing a displaceable blade (14). Each side section has an intake aperture, located outside the blade slide zone on the rotor-sided end face of that section. The opening edge of the ring has a corresponding opposite intake opening. A blade tip guide section is positioned, so that the intake aperture is offset radially inwards on the rotor-sided end face of the section relative to the outer circumferential edge of the blade slide zone. An auxiliary intake aperture is similarly located. USE/ADVANTAGE - Vane cell compressor assembly is for air conditioning plant in motor vehicle and is of new type.
