The system uses a lever operated flap valve working on a pin and groove principle. One or other lever (11,14) has guides (19,20) outside the groove (12) to guide the two levers without play in part of their swivel angle. The guidance includes pins (21,22) on lever (14) and guiding walls (19,20) on lever (11), or again both levers have both pin and groove. The groove is in v-shaped and its tip is directed towards the flap (2) swivel axis (4) as against the guide walls (19,20) which sit on the sides of the vee groove (12',12*). The walls (19,20) are curved and symmetrical to the groove and the two pins spaced out to lie within the walls in their conjoint movement. USE/ADVANTAGE - For motor vehicles, comfort engineering.
