PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load for generating various tables configuring a program guide in a program guide providing device. SOLUTION: Editing means 31, 32 inform a table generating means 21 about information sets B1, B2 relating to updating program information having already been stored in a program information storage means. The table generating means 21 discriminates which table is to be reproduced on the basis of the updated information and generates again only a corresponding table.
