PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify the kinds of nozzle simply, surely, and quickly, by forming the sensing body of a nozzle out of sensing-start and sensing-end reference elements provided in the nozzle and nozzle identifiers provided between these sensing reference elements. SOLUTION: As projecting a laser beam on a nozzle 2, a mounting head is moved in a longitudinal axis direction to sense a sensing reference element Sa. Then, moving the nozzle 2 in the longitudinal axis direction at an equal pitch (h), a plurality of nozzle identifiers S1, S2, S3, S4 are sensed in succession. Further, moving the nozzle 2, a recessed groove S2 of the nozzle identifier S2 is recognized as a code [1]. In this way, sensing the presences of the recessed grooves for the subsequent nozzle identifiers S3, S4, one of codes [0], [1] is obtained for each nozzle identifier. Then, when sensing a sensing-end reference element Sb, an identifying code is completed. Thereby, the nozzle 2 is judged as an identifying code [0101] by using its sensing body S to confirm the attachment of the desired nozzle 2. |
