<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image having excellent resolution while keeping gradation by interpolating picture element data used as conversion data as they are in original data based on interpolation picture element data thereby generating the entire conversion data. SOLUTION: In this image processing method, part of picture element data in original data are uses as part of conversion data as they are. Then interpolation data are newly generated based on picture element data for other than the part of the original data used as they are in the original data. The picture element data used as they are as conversion data in the original data are interpolated by the interpolation data. Thus, the entire conversion data are generated. According to the image processing method, it is not required to process very small picture elements smaller than the size of the picture elements of the other conversion data for the interpolation picture elements.</p> |
