ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC TONER AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a stable quantity of electric charges even in any environment when an image is repeatedly formed many times by a toner recycling system, to prevent the lowering of image density and the occurrence of fog and to stably obtain a high quality image. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic toner contains at least inorganic fine particles as an external additive. The inorganic fine particles are hydrophobic titanium dioxide having 1.0-2.0 wt.% water content in an environment at 10 deg.C room temperature and 20% relative humidity, 70-120 m2/g BET specific surface area and 10-30 nm number average particle diameter.
