PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an operation procedure for using a service by connecting with the Internet, to reduce a load for managing individual authentication information, and to prevent the individual authentication information from leaking to the third person. SOLUTION: A client 5 is provided with an IC card reader/writer (hereinafter called as reader/writer) 3, and an IC card 1 in which the URL of a home page to be read and individual authentication information such as a user ID or a password is recorded is set in the reader/writer 3. When the IC card 1 is set in the reader/writer 3, the client 5 reads the URL from the IC card 1, and starts a browser, and transmits the URL to a server having the URL. A server 11 transmits a home page for inputting individual authentication information to the client 5. The client 5 receives the home page, and reads the individual authentication information from the IC card 1, and transmits it to the server 11. The server 11 receives the individual authentication information, and judges the propriety, and when the individual authentication information is proper, the server 11 transmits a desired service (home page) to the client 5. |
