摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device which identifies pressure by point touch or area touch and whose cost efficiency is high by retrieving threshold information through the use of information on divided inner resistance, comparing it with touch resistance and identifying pressure by point touch or area touch. SOLUTION: When pressure is added to the touch position of a resistance-type digitizer panel input surface, electric touch is generated between resistance layers and touch resistance 20 is temporarily formed. The resistance layers are modeled by two pairs of series resistors formed of divided inner resistance in the resistance layer, the first series resistor 21 connected to the second series resistor 22, for example. A resistance threshold (direct resistance when pressure is added with point contact) which is previously decided is retrieved from a memory through the use of the known position of a common node and it is compared with series resistance. Contact resistance formed by point contact is usually larger than contact resistance formed by area contact. Thus, that measured series resistance is smaller than a value taken out from the memory shows the existence of area contact.</p>
