REMOTE-CONTROLLABLE MULTISTAGE MIXER-SETTLER TYPE SOLVENT EXTRACTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply and extract liquid in optional stages of an extracting device, to extract a solution and a sediment product in a settler part of the extracting device and to remote-change the multistage extracting device by using a remote operated jig such as a manipulator. SOLUTION: Spent nuclear fuel waste liquid and a waste liquid treating reagent fed from a reagent feed pipe 4 are agitated by agitator blades 10 in a mixer part 2, and mixed liquid is transferred from the mixer part 2 to a settler part 3 and separated into the organic solvent phase of extracted liquid and the aqueous solution phase of nonextracted liquid. An interface between the extracted liquid and nonextracted liquid is regulated by an interface regulating part 9, and sediment formed at the interface is settled and accumulated at the bottom part of the settler part 3. The extracted liquid and nonextracted liquid are respectively extracted into sample bottles 11 by exclusive pump type jigs 7, and the sediment accumulated at the bottom part is extracted into a sample bottle 11 by a pump type jig 8 via the interface regulating part 9. The pump type jigs 7, 8 are remote-operated by pressing the pump heads by a manipulator. A solution and sediment in optional stages can therefore be extracted and replaced.
