INSPECTING AND CORRECTING SUBSTRATE FOR PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inspecting and correcting the disconnection and short-circuit of electrode wiring mounted on a substrate such as electrode wiring on a substrate for plasma display panel capable of efficiently and certainly correcting a defect to be corrected including the shape defect of the whole area as an inspection target. SOLUTION: This method for inspecting and correcting a substrate comprises: a defect extracting step of extracting defect position coordinates over the whole area as an inspection target by image processing photographed image data as a sample obtained subsequently by photographing means; a correcting step of correcting the disconnection, short-circuit, and another shape defect capable of being corrected among the extracted defect portions; and an electrically- conductive inspecting step of electrically inspecting whether there is disconnection and short-circuit of electrode wiring or not.
