PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a user of necessary alarm information, etc., and to correspond to local alarms and advertisements, etc., even when the user is listening to music with a headphone in an information receiving and reproducing device which receives and reproduces prescribed information transmitted from an information transmitter. SOLUTION: Transmission information transmitted from a transmitter 0 is superimposed upon ratio waves being weak enough to reach only a limited area where the information is effective. The transmission information is received by the receiver 11 of the information receiving and reproducing device 10, filtered on the basis of information preliminarily set in a filter condition register 12 and subsequently stored in a memory 18. Music information is also preliminarily stored in a memory 19 in a data format being the same as that of the memory 18. The transmission information and the music information are selected by a switch 20 and reproduced by a decoder 21. A comparator 17 forcedly switches the switch 20 and reproduces the transmission information when the urgency of the transmission information exceeds a prescribed threshold. |
