PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a longitudinally sealed part structure of a three-way sealing machine which can dispense with the permanent attendance of an operator, is free from fusion of a film, and enables the rapid and continuous packaging work, and a packaging method using the sealing machine. SOLUTION: A first constitution is for a structure of a longitudinally sealed part of a three-way sealing machine having the structure that a flat film is wound around a cylindrical member B, and a heating member A is pressed against a lapped part of the film to heat-seal the lapped part forming a longitudinal part of a bag, and the longitudinally sealed part structure is provided with an element to measure the temperature of the cylindrical member B and the heating member A, and a device to control the temperature of the heating member A so that the sum of the temperature of the heating member A and the temperature of the cylindrical member B is maintained in the specified range.
