Product useful as a betaine supplement for animal feeds comprises: (1) a betaine-containing liquid derived from molasses or vinasse; and (2) a solid carrier. An Independent claim is also included for the use of a liquid composition that contains at least 30 wt.% betaine and is derived from molasses or vinasse by betaine enrichment, as a betaine supplement for animal feeds.
