<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve reduction in size and high reliability of a magnetic recorder by eliminating the cable wiring between a magnetic head stack assembly and a control circuit. SOLUTION: The magnetic recorder is provided with a magnetic head stack assembly 11, which has a magnetic head 12 positioned to a magnetic recording medium 15 for writing and readout of data, a control circuit 13 to operate data and a control signal and a transmitter/receiver 14 to transmit and receive the input and output signal of the control circuit 13, and a control substrate which has a control circuit 17 for controlling the entire part of a magnetic recorder 10 including the magnetic head stack assembly 11 and a transmitter/ receiver 16 for transmitting and receiving the input and output signals between the control circuit 17 and the magnetic head stack assembly 11 with a carrier signal. Thereby, a FPC cable for connecting two control circuits is eliminated, and restrictions on arrangement in magnetic head stack assembly is reduced.</p> |
