PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image compositing and processing device not uselessly deteriorating the quality of a graphic image by controlling processing graphic image data by filtering also using a compositing coefficient. SOLUTION: The image compositing and processing device 1 having a filtering execution control part 33 for controlling filtering in a filtering part 3 for processing a graphic image by filtering and outputting it, and compositing graphic image data outputted from the filtering part 3 and externally inputted video image data by an image compositing part 8 according to the compositing coefficient stored in a setting register part 5 is provided with a coefficient comparison part 6 for comparing a set compositing coefficient with a threshold and outputting a comparison result, and the filtering execution control part 33 controls processing the graphic image data by filtering based on the output from the coefficient comparison part 6 in addition to the setting for executing the processing by filtering. |
