PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new tile fixing method that can fix tiles laid on a roof for many years or tiles to the newly laid, so as to prevent dislocation and separation of the tiles without using a tile fixture. SOLUTION: When roofing by hooking the tile to a tile batten to lay the tiles in order on the upper face of a sheathing roof board, a pat of the lower edge face of the upper tile and the upper edge face of the lower tile are bonded and fixed with a silicon caulking material 21. The tiles laid for many years are corrected in dislocation and separation, and the broken tiles are replaced. After cleaning the surface dirt, the upper tile and the lower tile are bonded and fixed with the silicon caulking material in the same way. Ridge tiles, plain ridge tiles, ridge-end tiles, plain tiles, gable end tiles, eaves tiles, convex tiles, and eaves convex tiles are also bonded and fixed between them with the silicon caulking material to bond and fix all the tiles on the roof.
