PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically inform the caller of an emergency call that the caller must not move from the calling location and the power source to its portable telephone set must not be turned off even after the speech ends and the acceptor of the emergency call that the call is made from a portable telephone set. SOLUTION: When a mobile telephone subscriber makes a call by dialing the special telephone number (110) for emergency call from the portable telephone set 10, the calling signal is sent to a radio base station 11 for mobile telephone by radio.
