PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a room temperature shrinkable tube for cable connection parts, which has excellent workability for enlarging diameter and can obtain large breakdown strength by keeping sufficient shrinkability when an enlarged state of diameter is released, and to provide a rubber composition used for the same. SOLUTION: This room temperature shrinkable tube for cable connection parts is made of the rubber composition mainly containing ethylene propylene rubber with Mooney viscosity (ML1+4 ) of more than 60 at 100 deg.C, having tensile strength of more than 5 MPa, elongation of more than 500%, and permanent elongation of less than 15%. |
