PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing a perforated sheet material for the sound absorbing panel of an airplane engine nacelle, preventing a resin in a prepreg from flowing in perforations in a curing process and capable of holding the whole of an uncured fiber reinforced resin prepreg perforated surface sheet to a flexible state having tackiness to facilitate the shaping and application to a curved surface mold in a post process. SOLUTION: The apparatus for manufacturing the perforated sheet material for the sound absorbing panel of the airplane engine nacelle consists of a feed means 5 for bonding a plurality of uncured fiber reinforced resin prepreg perforated surface sheets 4 under pressure to feed them, a perforation means 22, which is held between an upper press plate 19 and a lower blade receiving press plate 21 to be fixed and forms a large number of perforations by a perforation edge instrument 23 and applies heat only to the peripheries of the perforations from the perforation edge instrument 23 to semicure the resin in a prepreg, and a cutting means 36 for cutting the perforated uncured fiber reinforced resin prepreg perforated surface sheets into a definite dimension and applying heat only to the cut parts from a cutter 37 to semicure the resin in the prepreg. |
