PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold designing support method capable of shortening a period required in the designing of a mold, enabling even a person having little experience in the designing of the mold to easily design the mold and capable of corresponding to such a case that alteration is generated in the design of a product. SOLUTION: A standard designing procedure for designing the mold is preliminarily stored as 'master mold data' by utilizing the function of a CAD system or the like and, when the design data related to the product is given, the designing procedure is automatically performed on the basis of the master mold data stored with respect to the design data to form the design data of the mold. The master mold data is desirably prepared at every process by dividing the whole into a plurality of processes, that is, a scaling model manufacturing process, a parting model manufacturing process or the like.
