PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cordless telephone system and a cordless telephone applied equipment using a radio system, which can advantageously deal with a scene, when its channel change or the like is required, even without correcting a main program and even on the job site. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a memory for storing a speech channel in addition to a microcomputer, and a program for speech channel rewrite is incorporated in the microcomputer, then the speech channel of the memory can be rewritten by starting the program for rewrite. As a suitable example, the memory for storing the speech channel is provided as an external memory of the microcomputer and the program for speech channel rewrite is built in the microcomputer. Thus, such a program for rewrite is started by using a ten key and/or function key and a speech channel written on that external memory can be arbitrarily rewritten.
