MAIL SERVER, ELECTRONIC MAIL SERVICE SYSTEM AND ELECTRONIC MAIL TRANSMISSION/RECEPTION CONTROL METHOD, AS WELL AS ITS PROGRAM AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop a transmission operation at a transmission source server for an electronic mail undesired by the reception side, and rescue a simple input mistake for a long mail address. SOLUTION: The mail address of a transmission source of which reception of the electronic mail is rejected is registered by a mail user beforehand at a contract condition management unit 8 and a registration condition management unit 9 in a mail server 4. When an electronic mail to the mail user is received, the electronic mail is discarded and 'User unknown' message, etc., is returned to the transmission source to notify absence of the destination address if an analyze processing unit 10 determines that the mail address of the transmission source is registered as a person who should be rejected. In addition, even if a part of the mail address of an electronic mail is wrong, the mail server 4 corrects it and transmits the electronic mail to its destination if it is a miss in writing within a particular condition range which is registered/ managed by the contract condition management unit 8 and the registration condition management unit 9.
