PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine and a game machine, which further entertain a player. SOLUTION: The slot machine 10 is provided with a reel unit 90 which is equipped with a plurality of rotating reels, a start switch 50, a stop switch 60, and a game control device 110 which is connected to the reel unit 90, the start switch 50 and the stop switch 60, respectively. The control device 110 has a game control means 120, a lottery means 130 and a production executing means 140. The slot machine 10 is also provided with a rotating disc unit 85 and a rotating disc control means 150. The unit 85 is equipped with a rotatable disc 81 whereon a plurality of patterns are drawn circumferentially, a plurality of light-emitting means which are provided on a backside of the disc 81 and can emit light of a plurality of colors, and a surface panel 82 which is provided on a surface of the disc 81 and has a display area wherein the patterns can be displayed. The control means 150 controls the unit 85 so as to bring about development of the colors of the light, emitted by the light-emitting means, via the display area and so as to make the colors and/or the patterns displayed in prescribed patterns.
