<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm system which uses a watt-hour meter, and is capable of raising an alarm of an abnormal quantity value of electricity used when residents are absent or the like, and performing a measurement display for crime prevention. <P>SOLUTION: This system is provided with a host computer 3 provided at a power supplying site, the watt-hour meter 1 connected to the host computer 3 with a network 4, and a terminal 5 connected to the network. A quantity of electricity reserved for use and its reservation period are reported from the terminal 5 to the host computer 3 previously, and to the watt-hour meter 1 the host computer 3 reports the reserved quantity of electricity which is reserved and has been reported. The watt-hour meter 1 selects a display mode for displaying the condition of the quantity of used electricity according to reservation information. When a quantity of electricity not less than the reserved quantity of electricity is measured, the watt-hour meter 1 output an alarm to the host computer 3, and when the host computer 3 receives the alarm output, the host computer 3 reports its reception to the terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
