<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus where paper stacked in a paper ejection part in a body is easily taken out and malfunction in the case of taking out the paper is surely avoided. <P>SOLUTION: The paper ejection part 21 is provided under an image reading part 5, and a control panel 22 is arranged on the front 5a side of the image reading part 5 arranged at the upper part of an image forming apparatus main body 1a. A guide rail 33 is provided on the front 5a, and also a groove 34 is formed on the back surface 22a of the panel 22 abutting on the front surface 5a, and the guide rail 33 is engaged in the groove 34.
