<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reforming apparatus capable of enhancing a reforming efficiency inexpensively. <P>SOLUTION: In the reforming apparatus, a reforming chamber 2, in which a reforming catalyst 1 is loaded and a reformed gas consisting essentially of gaseous hydrogen is produced by reforming a supplied hydrocarbon based raw fuel with steam, and a reformed gas flow chamber 4, through which the reformed gas discharged from the reforming chamber 2 flows, are arranged side by side heat-transferrably. The reforming chamber 2 and the reformed gas flow chamber 4 are sectioned and formed such that they are separated by one flow chamber side heat transfer plate 5, and a gas passing part 10 for passing the reformed gas from the reforming chamber 2 to the reformed gas flow chamber 4 is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
