<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for knitting a gusset-having cylindrical knitted fabric not sewed and capable of being enough stretched, and to provide a knitted fabric. <P>SOLUTION: Left and right sleeve portions 13L, 13R, and the central body 12 are knitted from the lower ends to places close to connection portions, respectively. The sleeve portions 13L, 13R, and the central body 12 are cylindrically knitted, while front side portions 13LF, 13RF; 12F and rear side portions 13LB, 13RB; 12B are connected on both the sides of the breadth, respectively. The knitting works of gusset knitted fabrics used as right and left gussets 14L, 14R are started at places close to the connection portions of the sleeve portions 13L, 13R to the central body 12. The right and left gussets 14L, 14R are knitted in approximately rhombic forms, while the knitting widths are reduced with the front side portions 14LF, 14RF and the rear side portions front side portions 14LB, 14RB. Hence, the front and rear gussets 14L, 14R are integrally formed, and a felled seam is not formed in the boundary portions, whereby the elongation of the knitted fabric in the course direction can be sufficiently ensured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
