PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of securely providing electronic information such as an electronic name card only to another objective mobile information terminal by wireless communication without the need for distributing common information in advance. SOLUTION: In data exchange processing, first a terminal A acquires a context A of itself and transmits it to a terminal B. Upon the receipt of the context A, the terminal B acquires a context B of its own and transmits the context B to the terminal A. The terminal A receives the context B. The terminals A, B carry out comparison arithmetic operations between its own context and the context of the opposite party, respectively. When the terminals A, B obtain arithmetic results, they discriminate whether or not the context comparison arithmetic result is a threshold value or below. When both the terminals A, B discriminate that they exist closely to each other, the terminals A, B generate encryption keys for secret communication to exchange information such as the electronic name card.
