PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication device for improving the accuracy of an authentication result. SOLUTION: The combined biological information obtained by combining finger vein information with fingerprint information is registered in a DB210 for authentication, and the finger vein information and fingerprint information of the user is read by using a finger vein reading device 30 and a fingerprint reading device 40. When the combination of the read finger vein information and fingerprint information is registered in a DB210 for authentication, it is decided that authentication is valid, and in the other case, it is decided that authentication is invalid.
