PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extremely high-speed image forming apparatus operated at≥300 mm/sec system line velocity, and to provide an image forming apparatus that outputs a stable image of high resolution without producing an abnormal image when the apparatus is repeatedly used at high speed. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus operated at≥300 mm/sec system line velocity is characterized in that: the apparatus includes a developing means having a plurality of developing sleeves; an electrophotographic photoreceptor having at least a charge blocking layer, a moire preventing layer, a photosensitive layer and a protective layer, successively deposited on a conductive supporting body is used as a photoreceptor; and the protective layer is formed by curing at least a radical polymerizable monomer of three or more functional groups having no charge transport structure and a monofunctional radical polymerizable compound having a charge transport structure.
