PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a musical tone analysis with high accuracy. SOLUTION: At the time of analyzing such musical tones as shown in Fig., the point where the amplitude thereof attains the max. value is determined as a specific point and a spectral analysis is executed by Fourier transform for a short time while a time window is successively shifted in a forward direction of a time base from this specific point. Next, the spectral analysis is executed while the time window is successively shifted this time in the negative direction of the time base. The loci of the peaks detected in the respective frames are decided bidirectionally to carry out the follow-up of the loci. In addition, the spectral analysis is executed under the analysis conditions varying with each of harmonic groups. |
