PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air-conditioner capable of easily obtaining an air-conditioned state desired by a driver by determining the presence/absence of any occupant in a front passenger seat with excellent accuracy. SOLUTION: In the vehicular air-conditioner 1A, an air-conditioning ECU 5A determines presence/absence of any occupant seated on a front passenger seat based on the temperature distribution detected by a matrix type infrared ray sensor 8, and controls an air-conditioning unit 2 so as to adjust an air-conditioned state on the front passenger seat side by using the air-conditioning condition on a driver's seat side when it is determined that no occupant is seated on the front passenger seat.
