PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air-conditioner capable of efficiently obtaining an air-conditioned state desired by an occupant on a front side. SOLUTION: In the vehicular air-conditioner 1, an air-conditioning ECU 5 determines presence/absence of an occupant seated on a rear side seat based on the temperature distribution detected by a matrix type infrared ray sensor 8. When it is determined that no occupant is seated on the rear side seat, an electric-driven valve (a cut-off means) 75 is driven to cut off the feed of a refrigerant to an evaporator 206 of a rear air-conditioning unit 200.
