PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reference part for accurately and efficiently mounting a suspension assembly or the like to a vehicle body. SOLUTION: A long hole 80 is provided at a predetermined position of a white body 10. Target pieces 18a to 18d are temporarily mounted to the long hole 80 after an assembling and a welding step. The positions of the pair of right and left mounting holes 12a to 12d of the suspension assemblies 14 and 16 relative to the white body 10 is measured. The target pieces 18a to 18d are moved and fixed to an axis line part in the vehicle longitudinal direction including a middle point of the right and left mounting holes 12a to 12d in a plan view, based on the positions of respective pairs of mounting holes 12a to 12d to be measured.
