PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a communication terminal capable of performing optimal echo suppression control when making a speech in each of an open state (first link state) and a closed state (second link state) between communication terminals with various opening/closing mechanisms (linking mechanisms). SOLUTION: When making a speech in an open state (first link state) of a casing of a communication terminal 100, reception voice sneaking is reduced and echo can be sufficiently suppressed by an echo canceler 21. In such an open state, a first input/output property of an AGC 25 is selected. When making a speech in a closed state (second link state) of the casing, there is much reception voice sneaking, echo can not be sufficiently suppressed by the echo canceler 21, and echo becomes residual. In such a closed state, a second input/output property of the AGC 25 is selected. The second input/output property of the AGC 25 suppresses an output property in a small input level area lower in comparison with the first input/output property. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
