A differential gear 1 for a vehicle comprises a differential case 2 having a pair of holes 9 R, 9 L for drive shafts, a pair of pinion gears 3, 4 supported by pinion gear supporters 10, 11 and a pair of side gears 5 R, 5 L engaging with the pinion gears 3, 4 . A pair of thrust washers 6 R, 6 L is interposed between the backs of the side gears 5 R, 5 L and the inner peripheries of the holes 9 R, 9 L without radial movement.
