PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relatively compact expansion rail device capable of moving a working vehicle from a storage place to a main line rail. SOLUTION: A movable rail 1 is provided on a base B, which is movable from the original position on a storage place P of a working vehicle C to the advanced position extending onto the main line rail R. The movable rail 1 is reciprocated by a motor M1 and a chain 5. An auxiliary rail 2 is provided on the base B, which is movable from the original position at the side of the movable rail 1 to the advanced position continuous to the base end side of the movable rail 1.
