PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating film transferring tool which surely prevents the generation of a non-transferred section to a surface to be transferred resulting from a coating breakage of a transfer tape in a transfer head from occurring at every start of the service, and at the same time, can eliminate the idle slipping. SOLUTION: On the front end section of a case main body 1, a protective cover 9 which is freely slidable longitudinally between an advancing position with the transfer head 15 covered, and a retracting position with the transfer head 15 exposed is installed. The protective cover 9 is urged in the direction to the advancing position by a spring 20. At the same time, a tape letting out means 7 by which a transfer tape T is let out toward the transfer head 15 is installed in the case main body 1. The tape letting out means 7 is interlocked with a driving means 21 which moves the protective cover 9 to the retracting position. By operating the driving means at the start of the service, this coating film transferring tool can let out the transfer tape T toward the transfer head 15. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
