PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce labor for replacing a grinding material by eliminating the need of aligning hole positions when a sheet-shaped grinding material is attached to a pad. SOLUTION: The grinding tool for sucking dust comprises (a) the sheet-shaped grinding material having a grinding surface, a back surface, and twenty or more holes; and (b) a back-up pad having a supporting surface, and a back surface, having (i) twenty or more holes, or (ii) a plurality of holes , and a groove extending along a line connecting the twenty or more holes of the sheet-shaped grinding material and communicating the plurality of the holes. The back surface of the sheet-shaped grinding material is detachably fixed on the supporting surface of the back-up pad. The twenty or more holes of the sheet-shaped grinding material are generally adjacent to holes of the back-up pad, and disposed in a lattice shape of regular interval plural equilateral triangles.
