A method for reducing shock about generation of electric power of hybrid vehicles is provided to improve marketability of the vehicles by preventing vibration and generation of shock in Tip in driving at a low, middle speed area. A method for reducing shock about generation of electric power of hybrid vehicles comprises the following steps of: determining controllable standard speed of a radius of driving and driven pulleys in the vehicles after checking the speed of the vehicles(ST100); determining a Tip in or a Tip out state of an accelerator(ST200); controlling generation shock to minimize the generation shock by controlling the radius of the driving and driven pulleys(ST300); and controlling the radius of the driving and driven pulleys according to speed of the vehicles after normalization of the generation shock(ST400).
