<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling an IC card for an electronic signature registering the history informations of the lending and return of the IC card for the electronic signature so as to inhibit tampering. <P>SOLUTION: The method for controlling the IC card for the electronic signature is composed of a step, when the electronic signature is carried out to random numbers generated in a custody device, by using a private key registered to the IC card for a personal authentication when the IC card for the electronic signature is lent; and the step when the random numbers, the random numbers, to which the electronic signature is carried out, and an electronic certifier registered to the IC card for the personal authentication are registered as the lending history information. The method is further composed of a step, when the random numbers, which are registered in the custody device and to which the electronic signature is carried out, is collated and processed to a hash value generated by a decoding by a public key for an electronic certificate registered to the IC card for the personal authentication and the hash value generated from the random numbers registered to the custody device, when the IC card for the electronic signature is returned; and a step when the return information of the IC card for the electronic signature is registered to the lending history information of the custody device, when the random numbers match the collation and processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
