FIELD: information technology.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to video encoding/decoding. Disclosed is a method of signalling information for video data. Method includes a step of determining minimum size of coding unit for video sequence, wherein video sequence includes a plurality of images. Each of said plurality of images includes a plurality of coding units respectively, and each of said coding units corresponding to respective assembly of respective quadtree data structure.
