The present invention relates to a common mode filter including an external electrode formed by curing conductive paste to reduce manufacturing costs and time when forming the external electrode of the common mode filter, and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, the common mode filter includes the external electrode formed by printing and curing the conductive paste; and a multi-layered external electrode composed of a lower electrode layer formed by curing the conductive paste, and an upper electrode layer formed by solder.
