The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for controlling the transmission of a vehicle, and more specifically, to a method and an apparatus for controlling the synchronization of a synchronizer included in the transmission of a vehicle. To this end, the method for controlling the transmission of a vehicle of the present invention, comprises the steps of: determining the type of transmission of a vehicle and the target time corresponding to the type of transmission of a vehicle; calculating the speed difference between a pressure axis speed and an output axis speed based on the current time; calculating the speed adjustable amount of the output axis until the current time reaches the target time; calculating synchronized torque by using the speed difference and the speed adjustable amount; determining the target displacement of a synchronizer by using the synchronized torque; and synchronizing a clutch gear of a sleeve by controlling the synchronizer according to the target displacement. According to the present invention, at the time of driving a vehicle, the optimum control position according to an actual driving condition is calculated to control a synchronizer and perform a feedback correction according to a control error, thereby producing an advantage of performing a more accurate and smooth transmission of a vehicle. |
